Claypot Chicken Rice

This is my husband's favourite dish, and I cook it whenever I can without making it boring. There are minimal ingredients involved, and the star protein here is chicken, who doesn't enjoy chicken? Typically, as the name suggests, Claypot Chicken Rice is made in a claypot on the stove, but cooking it that way would mean that you most likely would have to stand, watch and stir the contents of the claypot the entire length of time that it cooks (about 20-30 minutes).

Sweet and Sour Chicken

Sweet and sour chicken - a staple dish in chinese restaurants everywhere. Of course, there are many other types of protein that pair superbly well with the delightful sweet and sour sauce, it can be 'sweet and sour fish', 'sweet and sour pork', 'sweet and sauce prawns', whichever you feel like having for dinner that night. I had this sweet and sour chicken for dinner today - just ladle the chicken pieces together with the thick, sticky and strikingly coloured sauce over a bowl of steamed jasmine rice.

Quick Japanese Chicken Cutlet Curry

Japanese curry is wildly popular not only in Japan, but in its neighbouring countries as well, frequently appearing in Japanese restaurant menus everywhere. This is the easiest way to prepare this deliciously savoury and smooth curry. You can customise it to your personal taste and liking, and enjoy it in the comforts of your own dining room.

Skinny Chicken Curry

Is there anyone who lives in Asia (or Great Britain for that matter) who doesn't like curry? Yes, there is - me. I have never been a fan of Chicken Curry, in particular, because most chicken curries that I have tasted are heavily laden with like 12 different spices, and I am very adverse to the taste and smell of too many spices all at once.

Lazy Mum's Slow-Cooker Pasta

This is something I discovered by chance out of sheer laziness some months back when my daughter started to eat foods other than porridge and milk. On my first try at this recipe, I was apprehensive as to whether or not my picky son will warm up to it, and lo and behold! (Pheeeeewwww) he LOVED it.
